stool or side table
arch is a stool or a side table with a clear design language. What looks like a static element quickly becomes much more dynamic when in use by someone sitting on it. The curve that slims down the seating object, creates a difference in mass, which offers the possibility to balance it while sitting. A beautiful collaboration between ergonomics and aesthetics.
active sitting
Its purpose is to stimulate legs and hips into active sitting. The cavity allows feet to be comfortably bent into the stool. It is designed in such a way that it will motivate the sitter into leaning forward and activate hips and legs.
wooden version
Made out of sustainable solid oak. The wooden arch comes in different finishes. A stained version in black, blue or green, without losing the beautiful wood pattern. Or a natural oak version, transparently varnished.
Vegetable tanned leather seating
For extra comfort a leather cushion can be offered. These cushions are made out of vegetable tanned leather from the Swedish Tärnsjö Garveri. The aesthetic is unparalleled and the patina that it develops with use over time cannot be produced any other way. It is also the only way to produce premium leather of desired quality while at the same time respecting the environment.
glass side table
barh’s arch also comes in a glass version. A side table with a clear design language. The transparent object shows interesting views along each side. The different layers give depth to the object.
coloured glass
The glass version is made of hardened float glass panels and is available in different colors. Extra clear, green, blue, bronze and grey.
solid arch
This solid wood version is just that little bit more extra. It is made of 4 pieces of wood that are subtly connected by some brass rings in between.
arch collectible
Besides the collection version of arch, barh also developed a collectible version of the object. Made from carefully chosen marble with a brass accent, this variant is even more exclusive and represents pure luxury and refinement. arch collectible comes in a limited edition.
